The Challenge
As Tik Dating Video grew to thousands of users uploading videos, sending messages, and engaging with each other daily, the platform needed a robust back office system. Without a centralized admin panel, managing user accounts, moderating reported content, handling fake profiles, and tracking video engagement was impossible at scale. The client needed a comprehensive web dashboard that would give administrators full control over every aspect of the platform including user management, content moderation, push notification campaigns, video analytics, and reporting workflows.
The Solution
I built a full featured web admin panel using PHP and Laravel with a MySQL database, deployed on a VPS for complete server control. The dashboard features a clean sidebar navigation with dedicated sections for Users, Reported Users, Fake Users, Send Notifications, Admin Users, Passion management, Video Dashboard, Videos, Reported Videos, Change Password, and Settings. The All Users module displays a paginated data table with search, sorting, and CRUD operations for managing the entire user base. The Video Dashboard provides a Metrics Overview with at-a-glance stats for Total Users, Total Videos, Premium Users, and Active Reports, along with an interactive bar chart showing Global Video Views by Country. The reporting system allows admins to review and take action on flagged content and users. The push notification module enables targeted messaging campaigns to engage the user base. The entire panel is built with a dark themed UI featuring the Tikdating pink/coral brand identity for a professional admin experience.
The Result
The admin panel gave the Tikdating team complete operational control over their growing platform. Admins can now manage 68 plus users, moderate 16 plus videos, track premium subscribers, and handle 6 active reports all from a single dashboard. The country level video analytics provide actionable insights into content performance across Pakistan, United States, India, Nigeria, and other markets. The fake user detection and reporting workflows significantly improved platform safety and trust. Push notification campaigns helped boost user engagement and retention. The panel operates seamlessly alongside the Android app, creating a complete full stack dating platform.
